Our first project was a highly successful month-long event aimed at collecting essential dental supplies for underprivileged communities. The initiative focused on gathering items such as floss, toothbrushes, electric toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, and tongue cleaners to improve oral hygiene for those in need.

Throughout the month, students and volunteers actively participated by donating these vital items. To promote our mission and encourage widespread participation, our team organized a comprehensive awareness campaign. We displayed posters around the school and engaged with the community to highlight the importance of dental health and the impact of our efforts. We also reached out to local dental practices in search of extra supplies they could donate as well.

This collaboration not only provided much-needed resources to underprivileged communities but also brought our community together in a meaningful way. The success of this event demonstrated the collective commitment of our volunteers and supporters to make a tangible difference in the lives of those in need.

We collected over 3000 supplies and were able to make over 600 pouches of supplies which we distributed to 3 separated organizations. We donated to the Union County Public Shelter, the North Carolina Dental Society, and Operation Care and Comfort. We were very satisfied with the outcome of our endeavor!
